01

About Us & Booking

We're a premium wedding photography and films studio founded by Arjun Kartha in 2008, based in Delhi NCR. Over the past 17 years, we've photographed and filmed more than 700 weddings across India and internationally. Our work has been featured in Vogue India, Harper's Bazaar, Forbes India, and Brides Today, and Arjun is a Fujifilm Global Brand Ambassador. We are a fully in-house team of photographers, cinematographers, and editors who are passionate about telling modern, emotional wedding stories.
Everyone on our team is a visual arts professional who left a different career to find their place in the world of Indian weddings. We love the energy, the happiness, and the stories that unfold at a wedding. We love being part of a happy family, being trusted with the best day of two people's lives, and being given the honour of telling that story. We love people, and we find that documenting weddings gives us the best opportunity to use our talents in the most meaningful way possible.
It's hard for us to sum it up, so we'll let our couples do it. You can read about their experiences in the testimonials section on our website. From the first conversation to the final delivery, we aim to make the entire journey feel personal, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable. Your wedding is important to us, and we want you to feel that from start to finish.
We started shooting weddings in 2008, during the early days of the candid wedding photography movement in India. Since then, we've photographed and filmed over 700 weddings across the country and around the world. We've covered almost every kind of Indian wedding there is, and we never get tired of the energy of the big-fat-Indian-wedding.
We recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates between October and March, and for destination weddings. Our calendar fills up quickly during the season, and popular dates are often confirmed a year ahead. If your wedding is sooner, do reach out anyway and we'll let you know our availability.
It starts with a conversation. You share your wedding details with us, we discuss your vision and needs, and we put together a personalised package recommendation. Once you're happy with the proposal, we sign a contract and collect a booking retainer to confirm your date. From there, our team stays in touch through the planning process, with a detailed pre-production meeting closer to the wedding to align on timelines, shot lists, and logistics.
Though it's always best when we can meet our couples directly, we completely understand if that's not possible. Yes, we'd be happy to meet your family or friends. We just ask that it's someone who knows you well as a couple and has clarity on what your wedding will look like, so we can understand your needs properly. We're also very comfortable doing consultations over video call if that works better.
We'd love that. Get in touch with us to set up a consultation at our studio, where you can see our work in print and on screen, and get to know each other. If visiting the studio isn't possible, we're happy to do a video consultation instead.
02

Your Wedding Team

We are a fully in-house team of photographers, cinematographers, and editors. Your wedding team will be led by Arjun or a Senior Director from our core team. We have flexible options based on your wedding's scale and investment. We introduce you to your lead photographer well before the wedding so there are no surprises. We never outsource your wedding to freelancers you haven't met.
We believe in quality, not quantity. For a mid-sized wedding (100 to 400 guests), we typically work with a team of 7 to 8 people including the lead. There is a minimum crew size required to deliver the quality of images and films we guarantee, so reducing crew beyond that point would only compromise the final result. Every wedding is different, and we'll discuss the right team composition for yours during our conversation.
Our team speaks and understands English, Hindi, and Punjabi fluently, and we've covered weddings across a wide range of cultures, religions, and traditions, including South Indian temple weddings, Sikh ceremonies, Christian weddings, Muslim nikahs, Bengali weddings, and many more. For traditions we haven't covered before, we research thoroughly beforehand and work closely with your family and pandit or priest on the day. Our experience has given us an understanding of human emotions that transcends language. We may not always understand every word, but we always understand what matters.
Yes, and we highly recommend it. It's far more efficient and creatively cohesive to have one team covering both the bride's and groom's families rather than two separate teams doing essentially the same thing. We have enough resources in-house to cover your entire wedding from start to finish, and the result is a unified story rather than two disconnected sets of images.
Each lead photographer has a personal style they've spent years developing. But our focus has always been on teamwork and a shared creative vision, which is why the stories on our website all feel like they belong together. We love warmth, joy, emotion, and everything in between. When you book Twogether, you're booking the studio's approach and aesthetic, regardless of which lead is assigned to your wedding.
03

On the Wedding Day

We work as one coordinated unit. Our photographers and cinematographers are briefed together, share the same creative vision, and communicate throughout the day. We arrive early, scout the light and locations, coordinate with your planner and vendors, and follow a planned timeline while staying flexible to the flow of the day. Our goal is to be present everywhere that matters without ever being intrusive.
Absolutely. Before the wedding, we ask you to share what we call your "inner circle" list, with names and photos of the people who matter most to you. This is distributed to the entire team so everyone knows who to watch for. We make every effort to ensure these people are captured in both candid moments and formal group portraits. Your parents, grandparents, closest friends: we know they matter and we treat them accordingly.
More than okay. Most of our couples tell us this, and it has never been a problem. Our approach is designed to make you feel at ease, not to put you on the spot. During candid coverage, you'll barely notice we're there. During directed portrait sessions, we guide you through natural interactions rather than stiff poses, so everything feels relaxed and genuine. If you're especially camera-shy, a pre-wedding shoot is a wonderful way to build comfort with us before the big day.
We understand your wedding day is busy and unpredictable. We suggest keeping about 45 minutes to an hour for couple portraits after you're in your wedding outfits. These are memories that will be with you for the rest of your lives, so it's worth carving out that time. For group and family portraits, we work from a pre-planned shot list and aim to get through everything in 15 to 20 minutes, efficiently and respectfully of everyone's time.
Regularly. We've worked with most of India's top wedding planners and are comfortable coordinating with decorators, venue teams, makeup artists, and DJs. Before the wedding, we connect with your planner to align on timelines and logistics. On the day, we communicate actively to ensure photography and film coverage fits seamlessly into the larger production.
04

Photography

We call it directed documentary. Our approach was born in 2008 when we were among the first in India to move away from posed, traditional wedding photography toward candid, story-driven coverage. That original premise still holds true. The foundation is photojournalistic coverage of your wedding as it happens, capturing real moments and real emotions. But we layer in thoughtful creative direction for couple portraits, bridal sessions, and key moments, so you also get images with strong composition and cinematic quality.
We don't limit the number of images we shoot during a wedding. At a standard two-day wedding, we shoot between 15,000 and 20,000 frames, more for longer celebrations. After a painstaking review, we reject around 60 to 70 percent of the material for technical or aesthetic reasons: missed focus, bad expressions, poor composition, unflattering moments. The remaining images are manually selected, colour corrected, and curated to tell a story. On average, we deliver 600 to 800 images from a two-day wedding, and 1,000 to 1,200 from a three-day wedding.
Every image we deliver goes through our professional editing process. Our editing style is a refined, light touch that prioritises our signature colour palette: warm, natural tones with depth and dimension. We don't over-process skin or use heavy filters. The goal is images that feel timeless, so your photos look as beautiful in twenty years as they do today.
No. Our photojournalistic approach means we shoot continuously and liberally, which inevitably results in many frames that don't meet our standard. Bad expressions, missed focus, poor composition, duplicate moments: all of these are rejected during our review process. We have a very high rejection rate, and our experience of processing millions of images over the years means you can trust that every image we deliver is one worth keeping. You will not miss out on any wedding memories.
As a standard process, we don't deliver raw or unedited files. Raw files are the unfinished ingredients, not the final dish. Our signature colour grading and retouching is a core part of what makes our work distinctive, and delivering unfinished work wouldn't do justice to your wedding or our craft. The images you receive are the complete, polished story.
Yes. While our standard editing covers colour correction, exposure refinement, and natural retouching across all delivered images, we're happy to do additional retouching on select images you plan to use for prints, albums, or special purposes. Just let us know what you need.
We have an extensive inventory of the best professional equipment available. However, we firmly believe that it's the photographer's vision and talent that creates great images, not the camera. That said, the rigours of wedding storytelling demand reliable, high-performance equipment, and we invest accordingly. We are proud to be Fujifilm Global Brand Ambassadors, and we also work with Godox lighting systems and Sennheiser audio equipment.
05

Wedding Films

Yes, and most of our couples choose both. We have a fully in-house cinematography unit that works seamlessly with the photography team. Because both teams share the same creative vision and coordinate throughout the day, your wedding story is perfectly in sync across stills and film. You can also book photography or films individually, but we highly recommend the combined approach.
When one studio handles both, the teams share moments instead of competing for them. There's no awkward negotiation over who gets the best angle during the pheras, or who controls the couple portrait session. Hiring two separate teams can cause a clash of creative ideas, and your end products end up looking and feeling different from each other. With Twogether, your photography and cinema are telling the same story, from the same perspective.
We typically create two types. A short highlight film (3 to 5 minutes) that captures the emotional essence of your wedding, set to music and edited for cinematic impact. This is the one you'll share on social media and watch with friends. And a feature film (20 to 45 minutes) that tells the full story, including vows, speeches, rituals, and the moments in between. Both are directed, scored, and edited as proper cinematic pieces.
The music is a collaborative decision between you and our editing team. We take your suggestions and preferences into account, but our main aim is to select music that will feel timeless, so your film doesn't feel dated when you watch it years from now. We use licensed music and work to find tracks that complement the emotion and pacing of your specific wedding story.
Yes. Before we deliver or share your final wedding film, we send it to you for preview. Only after your approval do we finalise and deliver. We typically allow two rounds of changes. We ask that you consolidate all your feedback in the first round so we can incorporate everything at once, leaving the second round for any minor tweaks.
Yes, same-day edits are available as an add-on. We can produce a short film or photo slideshow that premieres at your reception, edited on-site during the wedding day. It's a wonderful moment when your guests see the morning's highlights during the evening celebration.
06

After the Wedding

We send you a short set of highlight previews within about a week of your wedding so you can share on social media and announce your wedding while the excitement is fresh. The full edited gallery is delivered within 8 to 12 weeks. Wedding films follow a similar timeline. During peak season, timelines may extend slightly, but we keep you updated throughout.
Through a private, beautifully designed online gallery. Your gallery includes AI-powered face recognition so your guests can instantly find every photo they appear in. It comes with one year of cloud storage, high-resolution downloads, and easy sharing options for family and friends. Films are delivered via private links for streaming and download.
You receive full usage rights to your wedding photos for personal, non-commercial use. That means you can make albums, order prints, share online, send to relatives, and use them however you wish. The only restriction is reselling the images commercially. As the creators, we retain copyright, which means we own the creator rights to the photographs.
We may, if your wedding results in work we're proud to showcase, and we're sure it will. We would love to share selected images on our portfolio and social media as examples of our work, so other couples can be inspired by your wedding. However, if you'd prefer we don't share your images publicly, we completely respect that. Just let us know and we'll note it in our agreement.
Yes. During the wedding, we shoot on dual memory cards so every image is backed up in-camera in real time. After the event, files are transferred to multiple drives and secure storage. At no point does a single copy of your images exist in only one place. We maintain guaranteed backups for 12 months after your wedding. We strongly recommend that you also download your images and archive them on your own cloud storage for long-term safekeeping.
07

Albums & Prints

Yes, as an optional add-on, and we genuinely encourage it. We believe in the magic of print. No matter how good digital devices may be, nothing replaces the experience of holding a beautifully crafted wedding album. These are family heirlooms meant to last generations. Our albums are designed by hand by our team, printed on archival-quality paper with premium binding. We offer albums crafted in India as well as handcrafted Italian albums. Get in touch with us for our latest catalogue.
Not at all. We do the heavy lifting. After spending time at your wedding, we know who the important people are and which moments defined each event. We design a curated story-album using our editorial judgment. You then review and approve the layout through our cloud-based proofing system, where you can comment and request changes from anywhere in the world on any device. If you'd prefer to select the images yourself, we're happy to provide a gallery for you to choose from.
From the time you approve the final layout, it takes approximately 12 to 15 days for Indian albums and 30 to 45 days for Italian albums to be printed and reach our studio. Delivery to you typically takes less than a week after that, depending on your location.
We typically recommend albums with 30 spreads (60 pages) containing about 110 to 150 images from your celebration. If you need more coverage, we suggest additional albums rather than overstuffing one. Parent copies and additional albums in various sizes are available. Just let us know what you need.
We do. We love prints and are always excited to see our work enlarged for a wall. We offer contemporary, high-quality frames in a variety of sizes. Get in touch for our latest options.
08

Pricing & Destination Weddings

Our pricing is tailored to each wedding based on the number of events, team size, whether films are included, destination logistics, and deliverables. We work in the premium segment and believe in transparent, personalised pricing rather than one-size-fits-all packages. We truly understand how expensive it is to get married, and we know wedding photography is a significant investment. Either way, please do get in touch with us. We may be more approachable than you think.
We understand there are a million things to pay for when getting married, and some investments are harder to justify than others. Premium wedding photography comes at a price, and we can't begin to overstate the effort involved in delivering the quality of work you see on this website. That said, we have flexible options for different wedding scales and budgets, and we're always happy to have an honest conversation about what works for you.
Absolutely. Our packages are starting points, not rigid structures. We regularly build custom coverage for weddings with unique requirements, whether that's a single-event court marriage, a week-long destination celebration, or anything in between. Tell us what your wedding looks like and we'll design coverage around it.
Yes, extensively. We've photographed destination weddings across India and internationally, including Rajasthan's palace hotels, Goa's beachfront resorts, the hills of Rishikesh and Mussoorie, Kerala's backwaters, Jim Corbett's wilderness lodges, and international destinations from Bali to Kenya, Bangkok to Brooklyn, and Abu Dhabi. Destination wedding packages include all travel logistics for the team.
Our core creative fees remain the same regardless of location. For out-of-station weddings, travel and accommodation for the team is added at actuals and included transparently in your quote. We only charge for days we're actually shooting. We recognise that travel involves non-billable days and we don't charge for those. There are no hidden costs.
It's a fair question. There are two parts to the answer. First, we block our full calendar for your dates, which means we turn down other assignments for those days. Second, and more importantly, in our experience Indian weddings average out. Your wedding day will likely involve overtime, because Indian weddings aren't known for wrapping up on schedule. We won't charge you extra for working late, so at the end of the celebration, things really do balance out.
We understand plans can change. Our contract includes clear terms for both postponements and cancellations. If your date changes, we'll do our best to accommodate the new date without additional fees. For cancellations, our policy is outlined in the contract and is designed to be fair to both sides. We approach these situations with flexibility and understanding.
09

Pre-Wedding Shoots

Yes, as an optional add-on to any package. Pre-wedding shoots are a wonderful way to build comfort with your photography team before the wedding day, and the images can be used for save-the-dates, welcome signage, invitations, and social media. We shoot at locations of your choice, whether that's a spot in your city, a heritage property, or a destination abroad.
Ideally, at least 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding. This gives us enough time to deliver your images before the wedding day so you can use them for save-the-dates or decor. If you can't find a date before the wedding, we're happy to do a session afterward as well.
Of course. As long as we don't have prior commitments, we're happy to shoot on weekends. Just let us know your preferred dates and we'll work it out.
Each session is different, but we typically deliver between 40 and 70 images from a single session that lasts 4 to 6 hours.
We typically deliver a small selection of 10 to 15 preview images within about 10 days of your session. The full set is delivered approximately 4 weeks after the shoot.

Still have questions? We'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're early in your planning or ready to book, a conversation is always the best place to start.
