Years later, they chose to celebrate that journey with a beautiful Ritz Carlton Bangalore wedding. With Ajay’s South Indian roots from Karnataka and Aakshi’s North Indian heritage from Mumbai, their celebration was a joyful coming together of two cultures, two cities, and two families…all wrapped up in warmth, laughter and love.

A Bollywood-Inspired Pre-Wedding in Neemrana

Aakshi grew up dreaming of mustard fields, the kind you only saw in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. So when it came time to plan theirpre-wedding shoot, there was no question—it had to be iconic. We found the perfect backdrop at Neemrana Tijara Fort, a quiet heritage gem just outside Jaipur.

With golden fields stretching in every direction and the fort’s architecture adding a touch of old-world magic, Aakshi and Ajay brought their chemistry to life. There were no rehearsed poses here…just laughter, genuine moments, and a couple truly enjoying each other’s company. A Traditional South Indian Wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore

The first celebration in this North-South wedding was a classic South Indian ceremony held at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Bangalore. Rooted in tradition and brimming with emotion, this was the kind of wedding that felt both grand and intimate at once.

Ajay made a heartfelt entrance, flanked by family and friends in a sea of white veshtis and silk sarees. Aakshi, radiant in a traditional Kanjeevaram, looked every bit the South Indian bride…her look complete with temple jewellery and jasmine flowers woven into her hair. The mandap was set in the hotel’s lush outdoor space, dressed in banana leaves, marigolds, and the gentle sounds of nadaswaram in the background

A colourful Mehendi celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore

In the morning before the South Indian ceremony, Aakshi and Ajay hosted a relaxed and joy-filled Mehendi celebration that brought together friends, family, and colour in equal measure. Held at a sun-drenched outdoor venue in The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, the setting was effortlessly elegant…featuring citrus-hued florals, printed cushions, and vibrant backdrops that perfectly complemented Aakshi’s bring fuchsia outfit.

An Epic Sangeet Night

The night before the wedding, the energy shifted gears as the sun set and the lights came on for the Sangeet night at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore. The ballroom sparkled with a glamorous setup…mirrors, chandeliers, and mood lighting that turned the space into a chic party zone.
