INDIAN WEDDING FILMS

documentary and cinematic indian wedding films

The film you'll still be watching in 20 years

Indian wedding films are at their best when they feel like memory, not a montage. At Twogether Studios, we have spent 16 years making films that are cinematic, documentary at heart, and deeply personal. Real moments, real voices, real emotion, crafted with a clean and modern edit that lets your story breathe. We don’t script. We don’t direct your family to wave at the camera. We position ourselves to be in the right place when the real moments happen, and we build your film around those. The result is something that feels less like a wedding video and more like a short film about two people you love.

From intimate Delhi celebrations to destination weddings across Rajasthan, Goa, and beyond, our films have been made across India and on four continents. If you are looking for a wedding filmmaker in India who will treat your story with the same craft and intention we have brought to every film since 2008, you are in the right place.

Chaya and Mayank wedding film — The Roseate, New Delhi — Twogether Studios

An intimate celebration at The Roseate, New Delhi. Chaya and Mayank's film is quiet, warm, and unhurried, built around the people who showed up for them and the moments in between.

Anusha and Anup wedding film — Alila Fort Bishangarh, Rajasthan — Twogether Studios

Fifteen years together before they made it official. Anusha and Anup celebrated at Alila Fort Bishangarh, a restored 18th-century warrior fort in the Aravalli hills of Rajasthan. A love that had already stood the test of time, in a fort that had too.

Chris & Meenal

Wedding Film · Rajasthan
Chris and Meenal wedding film — Neemrana Fort Palace, Rajasthan — Twogether Studios

They met at a dance class in the US. Years later, they celebrated at Neemrana Fort Palace, Rajasthan with two ceremonies in two days. Chris, a US Navy doctor, stood at the aisle in full naval uniform. Meenal danced through every function. Two families, two cultures, one 15th-century fort.

Keshav & Marcia

Wedding Film · Mumbai
Keshav and Marcia wedding film — Cathedral of the Holy Name, Mumbai — Twogether Studios

A Valentine's Day church wedding at the Cathedral of the Holy Name, Colaba, Mumbai. Keshav, drummer with Sanam Band, surprised Marcia by singing his vows. His bandmates returned the favour at the reception. Intimate, musical, and completely them.

Kriti & Akhil

Wedding Film · New Delhi
Kriti and Akhil wedding film — New Delhi — Twogether Studios

A proper Delhi wedding in every sense — the baraat, the dancing, the families letting loose well past midnight. But what made Kriti and Akhil's wedding film one of our favourites was the quieter thread running through all of it: a couple genuinely at ease with each other, radiating the kind of chemistry that doesn't need to perform for the camera. Romantic, funny, and completely alive.

Paayal & Samir

Wedding Film · Mombasa, Kenya
Paayal and Samir destination wedding film — Sarova Whitesands Resort, Mombasa, Kenya — Twogether Studios

Gorgeous sunrises, the sound of the Indian Ocean, and a multi-day celebration that wove together two cultures and two families on the Kenyan coast. Paayal and Samir's destination wedding at the Sarova Whitesands Resort, Mombasa spanned a full Hindu ceremony, an intimate Ismaili wedding, a mehendi, a sangeet, and a reception — each one distinct, each one completely alive. One of the most geographically extraordinary weddings we have ever filmed.

A Hollywood-meets-Bollywood Delhi wedding at the Heritage Village Resort & Spa, Manesar. Varsha is a stylist and costume designer. Arjun is an American actor known for The Magicians on Syfy. Their wedding brought two worlds together — and the room felt it. Nikita & Ojas

Wedding Film · Goa
Nikita and Ojas wedding film — Alila Diwa, Goa — Twogether Studios

Two ceremonies, one couple, at the beautiful Alila Diwa, Goa. Nikita and Ojas wove together traditional Maharashtrian rituals with a simple, heartfelt Christian ceremony — each one distinct, both unmistakably theirs. Fun, spontaneous, and full of the kind of joy that doesn't need to be orchestrated. Exactly the sort of wedding we love to film.

Wedding film FAQs

What's the difference between a highlight film and a feature film?
A highlight film is the short, cinematic piece, usually around three to five minutes, that captures the feeling of your wedding in one sitting. It's the one you'll share and rewatch most. A feature film is the longer cut, typically twenty to thirty minutes, that tells the fuller story across your events, with more of the voices, speeches and quiet moments included. Most couples want both: one to share, one to keep.
What style of wedding films does Twogether Studios make?
Cinematic, but documentary at heart. We make films built from real moments, real voices and real emotion, edited cleanly and modernly so your story can breathe. The aim is something that feels less like a wedding video and more like a short film about two people you love, the kind you'll still want to watch in twenty years.
Do you script or direct the film, or is it all real moments?
We don't script, and we won't direct your family to wave at the camera. Instead, we position ourselves to be in the right place when the real moments happen, and we build the film around those. The emotion in our films is never staged, it's caught.
Do you offer same-day edits?
Yes. A same-day edit is a short film cut during the wedding itself and screened at a later event, often the reception, so your guests relive the celebration while it's still happening. It's one of our specialties, and we'll let you know what's possible based on your event flow and logistics.
How long is a typical wedding film?
Our highlight films usually run three to five minutes, and feature films run around twenty to thirty minutes, depending on the number of events and the story. Every film is paced to suit the wedding rather than forced to a fixed length, so these are guides rather than rules.
Do you film destination weddings outside India?
Yes, often. We've filmed weddings across four continents, from Kenya and Bali to Dubai, alongside destinations throughout India including Rajasthan, Goa, Rishikesh and Jim Corbett. We handle the logistics of travelling with you wherever your wedding takes place.
Can we book you for both photography and film?
Yes, and it's how we work best. Photography and film are two halves of the same story, and when our in-house team handles both, the look and storytelling stay consistent across everything you receive. You can book us for film alone, but most couples choose both so the whole wedding is told cohesively.
